This painting was just finished as a birthday gift for a friend who is a beer and JAWS enthusiast. I was inspired by ad campaigns from the 1970s as well as a kind of Saturday Evening Post/Rockwell palette. For those of you who don't know, Narragansett is the beer chugged and crushed by Quint (pictured in the painting in the mouth of the shark). It's a real beer, it was a fake shark, and this is a fake ad. For real.
